~The Designer~

I am Sheri McKinney, designer and artist at Secret Loft Designs. I've been married to Michael McKinney for 20 years and have lived in Lane County Oregon for 32. It's a supremely beautiful place to call home. We've raised 4 gorgeous and gifted children who are now successful adults in their various pursuits so now it's time for Mike and I to enjoy our empty nest.

Time to do other creative work like sew and sculpt while Michael enjoys crafting wonderful microbrew beer.

I've always wanted to be a successful artist in some capacity. First I must say I am thankful to my God and saviour Jesus Christ for the ability to do well the crafts I love . I am so grateful for my loving, supportive, handsome, funny, and wildly imaginative husband who gives me the freedom to be creative. He lets me be myself.

Most importantly I want to thank my mother, Barbara Anne Finn who ALWAYS believed that I could really truly be a successful person in life and art. Her love, her example and cheerleading for me has made some early childhood dreams come true, some beyond hope. Mom, you and Dad rock.
